I really like this, especially the point of view. For some reason it seems more unusual and intimate at the same time than some of the other angles that have cropped up here. Also, I wish you could come to the partay.
I tend to forget that I've got more than enough pixel space to crop into something closer (such as this). I start to feel like a cheat when I modify the composition too much.
The party would be fun and interesting, I'm not sure how it would go for me.
